Commercial Banking – Global Trade and Receivables Finance

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Trade Credit Insurance Manager.

Principal responsibilities
· Contribute to the management of various aspects of Receivables Finance transaction flow including Customer credit management, Trade Credit Insurance (TCI) management & Customer Limit request processing
· Undertake credit reviews and investigations into loss events and assist in establishing corresponding measures to avoid future recurrence
· Perform overall buyer/debtor exposure control, maintain and prepare proposals for increases in internal debtor exposure as per prevailing guidelines
· Contribute to the team's/department's business targets with particular emphasis on Trade Credit Insurance and maintaining effective relationship with credit insurance service providers
· Contribute to and support overall Receivables Finance business growth by facilitating sustainable inward business referrals through intermediaries like credit insurers, brokers or other relevant industry players
· Support Manager Trade Credit Insurance in conducting periodical Trade Credit Insurance portfolio analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities with effective recommendations and carrying out his/her assigned duties in the context of GTRF in the Greater China Region
· Coach and guide junior members on the Trade Credit Insurance Management Team to deliver the team's assigned duties efficiently

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements
·  Bachelor degree in related disciplines with no less than 2 years of work experience
·  For candidates who do not process the bachelor degree educational requirement, he/she must have a minimum of 2-5 years' experience in open account trade finance, receivables finance and/or trade credit insurance
·  Strong attentiveness to detail, self-motivation and an ability to work independently under pressure
·  Experience in dealing with credit insurers and thorough understanding of credit insurance arrangements
·  Experience in using Trade Credit Insurance in the Receivables Finance business under a regulated banking environment
·  Experience in credit proposal writing an advantage, especially in the Receivables Finance context
·  Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills
·  Good knowledge of application software
·  Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
·  Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
