We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Business Manager I .
Business : Markets Sec Services IT
Principal responsibilities:
· Co-ordination of MSS Tech China workforce demand (including but not limited to graduate, intern, vendor hiring)
· Assess and coordinate the headcount, skills demand, and vendor fulfillment for the local MSS IT teams.
· Serve as the primary contact point for vendors in China for any operational and logistical matters
· Provide the leadership team and line managers with opportunities to communicate with and engage their employees and stakeholders.
· Drive employee awareness, understanding and engagement with the global priorities for MSS Tech
· Find opportunities to promote MSS Tech and our proposition externally to support retention and recruitment.
· Build and maintain strong pipeline of GZ focussed success stories and other content, with a robust Offer operational support to the MSS Tech
· COO and the management team regarding both financial and non-financial matters.
· Handle the procurement, fusion request of the local central team
· Manage relationships between the financial department, central IT COO, HR, Learning and development and MSS business on a local level.
· Offer standardization and streamlining initiative to build a long term operating mechanism
Requirements
· Graduate degree in management / technology from a reputed university will be desirable.
· Strong financial & insights acumen, ability to analyze complex data and translate for senior management.
· Ability to bring analytical rigor and structure and effective solutions to poorly-defined problems.
· Experience in creating management packs is desirable.
· Experience in Networking & Coordination across organization functions.
· Ability to implement strategic plans and improvements to the organizational structure.
· Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
· Experience working with senior stakeholders in a global environment is desirable.
· Driving – setting stretching goals for self and teams and delivering them with courage and tenacity.
· Mobilizing – authentically engaging with team, colleagues and business partners to deliver at pace.
· Sustaining – making considered decisions that protect and enhance HSBC values, reputation and business.
