Assistant Business Resources Development Manager

Retail Distribution – Distribution Management Department

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With more than 250 branches and automated banking centres, including over 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population, offering an extensive range of products.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our Distribution Management Department as Assistant Business Resources Development Manager.

Principal responsibilities

· Assist in developing staff training & development plan and reviewing relevant needs according to business strategy
· Analyze succession needs, develop and implement talent development programmes for branch network to uplift the performance of sales and operations staff and to drive staff engagement
· Ongoing review the training curriculums and revamp staff training program to ensure the quality of services provided is in line with the Bank's standards
· Maintain and update competency framework, capability requirements and career paths of different posts under RSS according to business needs
· Organize staff engagement programs and arrange staff communication to ensure consistent and clear management messages could be timely cascaded to the staff under Retail Distribution
· Engage in ad-hoc projects to develop implementation plan for branch network to fulfill the competency requirements set out by regulatory bodies

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements
·  University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or other related discipline
·  Minimum 3 years of retail banking, with branch support experience
·  Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
·  Strong self-motivated with ability to work under pressure
·  Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
·  Proficiency in both English and Chinese with sound knowledge of application software
