We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Analyst – Data Management.
Principal responsibilities
· Support the implementation of the Data Management controls and BCBS239(Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) regulation along with a variety of other internal and external data requirements.
· Monitor and advise Risk stakeholders on Data Management controls and BCBS239(Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) requirements.
· BCBS239(Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) self assessment.
· Check and challenge of self assessments against BCBS239(Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) requirements to ensure the ratings reported are accurate and evidenced. Ensure that all issues are identified and fully documented.
· Ensure tools (Collibra, Qliksense & in-house tools) used to capture inventories, compliance ratings and evidence are complete and accurate
· Perform deep dives of selected BCBS239(Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) or data controls such as architecture, Data Quality requirements and monitoring to identify previously unknown issues.
· Perform deep dives of a country or sub function’s level of data management or BCBS239(Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) compliance.
Requirements
· Detail-oriented with ability to review and identify weaknesses and improvements
· Strong understanding of Risk activities, processes and systems
· Aptitude for investigating and reporting using databases and analytical tools
· Policy compliance monitoring and/or audit experience
· Knowledge of BCBS239 (Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) and Data Management controls
· Project planning and management
· Strong MS Excel skills including macros
· Knowledge of data manipulation and visualization tools
