We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Account Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

The role involves providing leadership to Process Advisory and Quality function of KYC Operations in GSC Mexico. The incumbent is expected to drive effective people management and operational processes. The Role Holder must support the Head of KYC Process Advisory & Quality, GSC Mexico in delivering quality and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders in the region and counties located in offshore and onshore locations. This is also a specialist role which requires in-depth knowledge, expertise, and experience in CLM Operations policy, procedures, and systems. Must be hands-on; challenge every control and process making them more robust and efficient.

The Opportunity:

·  Support the Head of KYC Process Advisory & Quality, GSC Mexico in facilitating effective decision-making and implementing strategic direction for CMB CLM Operations.
·  The role holder will drive and oversee a wide variety of highly prioritized strategic projects, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests.
·  The role holder is expected to provide support to various stakeholders and drive the delivery of agreed objectives within the operating model consistent with group standards and extend organizational support, helping to ensure action items, deadlines, and deliverables are completed.
·  Provide leadership and guidance to CMB CLM Operations teams and other KYC Function in producing timely, high-quality ETB and NTB CDD profiles and address quality issues.
·  Operationalizing the policies with a comprehensive view on production impact analysis and driving streamlining initiatives with an impact on production by making the processes faster, simpler, and better.

Leadership & Teamwork

·  Demonstrate ownership of effective communication of Groups initiative, policies, and other business service activities in CMB CLM Operations.
·  Establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues in the wider businesses and others as appropriate.
·  To contribute effectively towards the extended team performance and always manage for results & value in accordance with Leadership framework.
·  Pro-actively support others through direct and indirect actions beyond activities particular to this role.
·  Leading all the streamlining and process reengineering projects across CMB CLM Operations and be a key contact from the Process Advisory Lead in implementation of the key strategic projects.
·  Liaison with various regional internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, establish the service delivery requirements from a Process Advisory and Quality standpoint and deliver the results for production teams.

Operational Effectiveness & Control

·  Support site QC Managers to ensure agreed migrations / re-migrations are effectively implemented and are within the agreed AOP targets.
·  Act as a subject matter expert and extend support to various stakeholders in managing risk identifiers and mitigation.
·  Sharing of best practices across the regions (onshore and offshore sites globally) and enhancing the productivity and the quality of the existing PAQ Function within CMB CLM Operations.

Requirements

Skills:

·  Prior experience in KYC Operations or Client Services is essential and mandatory (if no prior experience in KYC or Client Services, the application will NOT be pursued as this is a specialist role).
·  Experience in CDD systems and platforms for CMB and GBM is essential.
·  Graduation in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or equivalent is essential.
·  Project management experience and proven ability to coordinate initiative.
·  Excellent communication (bilingual) and inter-personal skills.
·  AML related international certification is preferred (e.g. ACAMS, ICA).
·  In depth knowledge on AML policies and experience of operationalizing the policies.
·  Ability to handle crisis situations and take appropriate / timely decisions.
·  Ability to work well under pressure with high degree of accuracy.
·  Highly proficient in MS Office. Moderate level of database skills would be desirable.
·  In depth KYC knowledge & previous KYC expertise is highly desired for the role.
·  Excellent understanding of KYC, financial regulatory environment and AML risk implications and ability to interpret complex changes in regulatory guidelines and assess impact.
·  Ability to articulate clear vision to the team and get the maximum potential from the team members.
·  Detailed Oriented and ability to work well under pressure with high degree of accuracy.
·  Minimum Qualification: Graduation in Commerce, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
·  AML certification or Project Management Certification from a reputed institute would be preferred.
