Role of the team
As part of the Equities Technology team, the candidate will be joining the Production Services desk to perform Trading support analysis.
The team has a key role in the relationship between the Business (Trading, Sales, Business Managers and Compliance) and Technology teams (Development and Infrastructure).
Their duty is to help understanding and supporting the Trading desks, as much as participating in improving and innovating the Equities Trading applications used by the Business across all regions (HK, UK, FR, US).
Communication is an essential part of the job. The candidate will have to liaise efficiently and precisely with the different stakeholders while understanding the Business and technical issues.
Object oriented programing and technical knowledge are required. SQL is also essential to assist in producing business reporting.
Script language practice is appreciated (VBA, Python…).
We are looking for someone dynamic and attracted by the Front Office environment; keen on learning new things and not afraid of taking over challenges.
The Production team role is to ensure the sustainability of environments, monitor the systems in real-time and anticipate issues which could impact the production stability during trading market hours.
The London team is looking after the Equities eTrading platforms and risk management software used by Front-Office and regulatory team
Objectives
Ensure the Level 1 and Level 2 Production Support for Structured Equity Derivatives applications (BAU)
Work and manage small projects for SED tools in order to fix or improvement the workflows
Design and produce MI reporting to Management
Assist in Incident/problem management
Prepare and deploy Trading applications release on Production
Take ownership of understanding the different Business requirements
Success criteria / Deliverables
Ensure a Service continuity on Trading applications
Manage and maintain an excellent relationship and communication with the different stakeholders
Pro-actively participate in the improvement of the trading activity Monitoring
Identify/automate manual tasks
Manage priorities given the pressure of the trading floor
