Now we are looking for a Support Engineer to join our dynamic team, part of Customer Solution Center /CSC/.

The customer is at the center of everything we do in the Customer Solution Center. From Warranty to high availability Datacenter wide contracts, we support our customers and help them accelerate their business. Our award-winning centers provide technical care in 18 languages in more than 100 countries. The primary responsibility of the Support Engineer is to manage customer cases to a satisfactory resolution. The work is predominantly in the areas of hardware platforms, operating systems, subsystems and products operating on these systems. S/he is the first level of technical support to the customers. On receipt of a service request the engineer researches for a solution through remote diagnosis, documentation and/or knowledge databases within agreed timeframes. Qualification of hardware cases involves diagnosis and/or recommendation of parts for the field engineer, and /or direct shipment to the customer. In all cases where a problem gets too complex, the Support Engineer is responsible for timely elevation and/or escalation.

Responsibilities:

·  Work on daily bases with Worldwide industry leading professionals part of our customer portfolio based in Spain
·  Successfully resolve technical issues (hardware and software) from incoming internal or external businesses and proactive notification systems.
·  Build a strong customer centric mindset around awareness of infrastructure and specifications of the particular business need, in order to evaluate the impact of the technical issue
·  Work with proactive notification systems and alerts to detect and avoid technical issues
·  Respond to service, product, technical, and customer relations questions on subjects such as features, specifications, and repairs on current and discontinued products, parts, and options, based on customer entitlement
·  Keeps customers informed, sets and follows commitments, keeps precise case documentation and case ownership
Timely elevates and/or escalates to next level when the case is complex
·  Proactively assist customers to avoid or reduce problem occurrence.
·  Represent the company in verbal and written customer interactions.
·  Engages team members for support as required to ensure internal or external business and end user Service Level Agreements (SLA) demands are met
·  Begin to partner with and assist the Sales Pursuit team

Qualifications Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications or other equivalent Engineering.

0-2 years experience in relevant technologies and customer environments.  

Knowledge and Skills Required:

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
·  Interest in Software and hardware knowledge of computing, storage and peripheral devices
·  Excellent customer, telephone, oral and written communications skills
·  Analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Time management skills and working with tough deadlines
Team player
Wish to develop in a technical field
