Global Support Delivery (GSD) within our innovative IT services organisation PointNext is the service delivery team of HPE that provides IT solutions across all HPE solutions and platforms.  GSD has a proven track record, consistently ranking among the top in the industry.

We are currently hiring for 2 Technical Graduates to join our GSD Technology Services Management Centre (TSMC) based in Kotara.  This centre manage customers outsourced IT infrastructure operations.

What you will be doing:-

Our aim is to develop Graduates with a comprehensive skill set and understanding of the GSD business.  You will gain exposure to a variety of roles including Technical Consulting, Implementation Management and Deployment.  You will be working directly with some of our key clients in Australia, supported by colleagues with extensive experience in delivering successful IT outcomes by gaining direct exposure to a Service Desk which handles 7000 Level 1 & 2 tickets per month and a hands-on understanding of how the Engineering team build new environments and implement complex changes.   You will be part of an environment with a broad range of technology across but not limited to: Operating Systems, Virtualisation, Hyper Converged Infrastructure, Storage Arrays, Open Stack and SAP Hana.

If you:-

·  Have completed and graduated within the last 2 years (Bachelor’s degree). If completed Masters, there must be no more than 1 year gap between Bachelors and Masters Degrees
·  A degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or similar qualification
·  Have a broad knowledge and passion for the IT industry, ideally with infrastructure level technologies
·  Are well-rounded with the necessary interpersonal and customer handling skills to collaborate and problem solve with others under time constraints to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
·  Possess Australian Citizenship (valid at time of application due to some Federal Government clients requiring a Security Clearance)
·  Available for February 2019 commencement

Where this could take you :

You will gain exposure to a variety of roles in Service Desk, IT Operations Team and Engineering team mainly around System, Network and Information Security administration. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills in Technical Consulting by doing infrastructure design and implementation.
