Job Title : Strategy, Planning & Operations Internship – HPE Inside Sales

We are currently looking for bright and ambitious students to join our 13-month internship programme.  Based in Erskine, Scotland this is a role which is central to the success of our organisation and offers a unique insight into how we drive and develop our business.  You will be working with our Inside Sales management and sales teams across our Manchester and Erskine sites to ensure customer satisfaction, financial performance and operational excellence.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

·  End to end support of the Inside Sales recruitment process
·  Sales tools – set-up, training and utilisation
·  Maintaining and developing Business Intelligence reporting
·  Providing insights based on data analysis
·  Collation and presentation of management and performance data
·  Capacity planning and tracking
·  Ad-hoc activities as required

Required Skills & Competencies

·  Ability to communicate clearly and effectively using different mediums
·  Accuracy and attention to detail
·  Excellent time management & organizational skills
·  Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
·  Positive work ethic/ attitude
·  Drive, resilience & enthusiasm
·  Intermediate / expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel & PowerPoint)

Advantageous

·  Ability to demonstrate work experience or participation in meaningful extra-curricular activities
·  Interest and knowledge of Power BI

Eligibility :

·  Applicants must be completing an undergraduate degree that requires (or has an option for) a year’s industrial placement. A Business or related degree background that can demonstrate sales, finance, business & analytical skills is preferable. A target to achieve a 2.1 (based on results and/or predicted grades) is required.
·  In addition to the above educational requirements, students must be eligible to work in the UK and be available to commence the placement at the beginning of July 2019 for 13 months.
·  A full UK Driving licence and a vehicle would be a distinct advantage in the role due to the location of the HPE Erskine Site
