Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to work in the Houston, TX office.  Software engineering teams play an integral role in delivering industry leading server products and solutions.  As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work with a team that architects, designs, develops, debugs, and maintains software to provide innovative products and solutions to our customers.  The position includes working with the latest in hardware and software technology and provides interns an excellent opportunity to learn and gain experience in an exciting, high profile, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment.

Education and Requirements:

·  Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
·  Proficient in Python or C Language Programming.
·  Some proficiency in SQL, Node.js, or JavaScript is preferred.
·  Coursework in operating systems architecture.
·  Strong knowledge of software engineering concepts.
·  Coursework and/or related experience in computer security or cybersecurity.
·  Coursework in computer architecture.

·  Excellent debug and troubleshooting skills.
