Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering Intern to work in the Durham, NC office.  The Intern will have the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest Engineers in the Enterprise Storage Industry and will allow participants to build a network of contacts within an industry leading company.

Roles/Responsibilities:

·  The ability to \'think and do\' on your own with the guidance of expert staff
·  Real world experience within a highly technical and forward thinking development organization
·  Insight to high performance and high resilience architecture and design practices
·  A strong foundation for your future within the entire technology industry

Education/Experience:

·  Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD; enrolled in an accredited institution majoring in (Typically EE, ECE, CS).
·   Strong fundamental programming skills in one or more various languages (C, C#, C++, Python, etc..)
·  Willingness to learn from industry leading engineering staff who have operated at the cutting edge of enterprise storage and other key technology
·  Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred)
·  Knowledge of multi-threading and clustered environments and how they can be utilized within a robust enterprise class product
