Job Description:

   

College/University Graduate hires (within 12 months of graduation per the company's definition) undergoing a specific training and development path within the EMEA Graduate Program.

Responsibilities and Daily Duties:

Acting as a support engineer evaluate high priority issues on MapR filesystem, security, no SQL database, and MapR messaging. Learn how to Install and configure MapR filesystem for customers, including sizing the nodes. Advise setting up volumes and Kerberos or MapR security on customer environment for authentication

and authorization.

Analyzing slow java programs or failures related to JVM. Capturing best practices as part of the engagement and writes knowledge articles for self-service

Education and Experience Required:

·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field

Skills/Tools/Technologies Required

·  Knowledge of Linux operating System administration and troubleshooting
·  Knowledge of big data/Hadoop.
·  A plus if you have Java/C++ development skills
