The successful candidate will be working as a member of the SMB Team supporting the Management Team. The role includes responsibility for ensuring that sales campaigns, results and sales goals are tracked, executed, and effectively communicated. A successful individual will become involved, gaining a good understanding in all aspects of the business whilst taking on additional responsibilities as required.

The role is an integral part of the HPE Team which includes many responsibilities, a solid support system, and a fun and enjoyable work culture.

The core parts of this role are:

·  Supporting the Distribution, Channel and SMB Team on various activities from planning, demand generation, sales enablement, campaign execution, and measurement.
·  Development of formal & informal communication vehicles for internal & external audiences.
·  Management of various programmes and governance activities.
·  Internal/External meetings/events organisation/management.
·  Manage internal processes to support channel sales people.
·  Develop and manage a tracking reports on revenue, sell-out and SalesForce.com data
·  Build & update a weekly forecast pack and support the forecasting process with relevant sales manager
·  Delivering ad-hoc indicator reports or researches, through analysing data collected from sales activities and studies.

In addition the successful candidate will be encouraged to undertake ad-hoc projects encompassing other areas of the business that interests them.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate the drive and willingness to succeed in a multi-faceted organisation; they should have a strong work ethic and excellent organisation and communication skills with a good intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages.

The candidate will be working closely with members of the HPE SMB team and associated departments to support the business (e.g. Marketing, Category, Channel, Sales etc.) and will require strong interpersonal and communication skills. The individual must be able to work using their initiative, along with the guidance from the core team.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be completing an undergraduate degree that requires (or has an option for) a year’s industrial placement. A Business or related degree background that can demonstrate sales, finance, business & analytical skills is preferable but not required. A target to achieve a 2.1 (based on results and/or predicted grades) is required.

In addition to the above educational requirements, students must be eligible to work in the UK and be available to commence the placement at the beginning of July 2018 for 13 months.
