The Aruba Switching Operations group is looking for either a co-op or a summer intern , interested in developing their skills in both business and technology matters. Our business unit has employees all over the world, and we control a very sizeable budget. We handle all financial transactions in support of new products development and sustaining activities. Your role in the team will be to assess the current tools and processes, devise improvements, and look into new technologies to better support these. Dealing with our Finance partners imposes on us the highest level of integrity and accuracy, and brings information management to new heights with the volume and diversity of transactions we handle. Scope :

The PMO organization would like to promote the overall operational aspect of Development, Supply Chain, and Product Release program management. We are looking for interns that wish to learn the complex and dynamic nature of cross functional management across the business.

Education and Experience Required:

·  Must be currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or Computer Sciences

Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the items below:

·  First and second year interns should show Initiative management & thought leadership
·  Be able to Structure and manage several aspects of the project (e.g., objectives, scope, plans/ scorecards, cross-functional engagement, problem solving, documentation…)
·  Lead  sub-team to deliver on the different components/ work streams, including quantitative and qualitative business models with limited supervision
·  Work with a team to develop fact-based recommendations and drives implementation of recommended solutions (when appropriate)

Business Analysis

·  Conduct rigorous, data-driven analysis to diagnose the current state and model future outcomes for business performance
·  Drive fact-based decision making
·  Analyze key metrics and advises business stakeholders on ways to improve and optimize the go-to-market strategy and overall program health

Other Responsibilities

·  Assist with or work independently on special project
·  Work effectively with critical stakeholders, ready to engage with other key stakeholders of the company in a humble and productive way.
·  Work with in cross-functional environments in delivering business results (including planning and executing workshops).
·  Demonstrate high level of maturity, sensitivity, in handling company confidential information.

Relevant experience will include:

·  Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into relevant program/ project structure.
·  Ability to independently draft and present project deliverables, recommendations, and communications strategies.
·  Ability to drive the work while being perceived as a partner to supported teams.
·  Effectively communicate abstract ideas, independently manage project objectives.
·  Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously supporting the execution of their deliverables.
·  Communication, group facilitation, consensus building and influencing skills.
·  Strong competence in developing and managing relationships, including partnering and consulting.
·  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
·  Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
·  High level of maturity and sensitivity in handling company confidential information.
