We are seeking an experienced network engineer who wants to be a part of a fast-paced and challenging environment. Our ideal candidate will provide escalation-level support for the deployment and maintenance of Aruba products. This position reports into the Support services organisation and requires a person with in-depth understanding of complex enterprise network deployment models and strong troubleshooting skills.

In a typical day as a Principal Network Engineer, you would be responsible for:

·  Providing pre and post sales technical support to the sales teams, customers and partners for various technologies and solutions related to Aruba products
·  Working on complex problems requiring in-depth fault analysis and troubleshooting
·  Formulating technical action plans for analysing and resolving problems.
·  Simulating customer issues in lab
·  Addressing escalations from GSC (Global Support Center), Field, Partners and Customers
·  Troubleshooting complex customer network issues and bring it to quick resolution.
·  Owning critical customer accounts and ensure issues are addressed on time.
·  Working closely with development & QA teams in identifying & fixing issues at the earliest.
·  Providing technical cross-training to relevant groups as needed
·  Participating in serviceability enhancement requirement reviews
·  Occasionally required to travel to customer sites for troubleshooting, training purposes, business reviews

If you have...

·  Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
·  8+ year experience in customer facing Technical Support, preferably with 2+ years in TAC Escalation Role – supporting enterprise class networking products with advanced expertise in network switching, routing and security.
·  Industry certifications like ACCX, ACMX, ACDX & CCIE is a plus
·  Strong knowledge and concepts of TCP/IP, UDP, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, DNS, ARP, HTTP, GRE etc
·  In-depth knowledge of Layer2 technologies like spanning tree, VLANs, 802.1q, 802.1d etc
·  Strong knowledge of internet routing protocols like RIP, OSPF etc.
·  Proficient in VPN technologies - L2TP, IKE, IPSec  etc
·  Knowledge of authentication protocols and servers like EAP, 802.1X, TACACS, RADIUS.
·  Understanding & experience in configuring & troubleshooting VoIP protocols like SIP, SVP, H323 etc
·  Knowledge of wireless networking is a must.
·  Experience in network analysis & test tools like wireshark, iperf, nmap etc
·  Determine need to escalate & be able to interact with development & QA
·  Interact with other teams to drive resolution of hardware / software deficiencies / bugs.
·  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.
