You will receive support and mentoring tailored to your needs throughout your time on the intern program and beyond. When you join you will receive a 4 week ‘hand over’ period from the current intern in the position to help you establish yourself in this role. Throughout the 13 months you be working closely alongside the other channel interns.

The Datacentre Care/Integration and Performance Services Practice (DCC/IPS) is a presales team crucial to the success and growth of HPE Pointnext, responsible for driving and managing customized Operational Support service opportunities. The team achieves this through supporting sales qualification, informed solution design and pricing and creating compelling and high quality customer proposals to ensure a win for HPE.

The Presales Specialist will support the pursuit function of the DCC/IPS Practice as well as support key activities within the wider Growth group which the DCC/IPS practice sits under.

Day to day responsibilities include:

·  Act as first point of contact for sales pursuit requests into the team
·  Owning the initial qualification to enable approval, transfer or rejection of request in Salesforce
·  Work closely with the DCC/IPS Practice lead to ensure deal governance is completed
·  Tracking and presenting pursuit reports to delivery team
·  Pricing & proposal writing
·  Tracking upcoming and ongoing business opportunities by producing pipeline reports for management.
·  Present forecast documents to management team and make amendments to Salesforce opportunities based on business requirements.

Training will be provided to develop portfolio and pursuit expertise, including fundamental financial and business acumen. Interns in this role work on real bids immediately, significantly contribute to key deals and interact with sales, HPE management and customers. This role requires some flexibility as the team works to tight deadlines and occasionally work longer hours.
