Summary

The Inside Sales Rep (ISR) is a professional sales position dedicated to expanding service wallet share and delivering against primary quota targets to grow and protect the HPE services business.

·  Key responsibilities
·  o   Sells within HPE’s installed base for expanded service wallet share and achieves assigned service quota.
·  o   Drives opportunities from qualification to close.
·  o   Builds customer confidence in HPE’s remote sales capabilities, from procurement to senior levels of customer & channel partner management
·  The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for actively pursuing sales opportunities in Technology Support services for selected customers in an integrated market area or account sets via telephone.
·  o   Closes sales on pre-defined services ranges.
·  o   This role carries primary quota responsibility for an account list or territory.
·  o   The Inside Sales Representative will expand sales within existing commercial accounts for increased wallet share.
·  o   The Inside Sales Representative works collaboratively with colleagues/management on up-sell initiatives, sales development programs, e-business development, demand generation, in order to increase sales value, sales efficiency and revenue.
·  o   When there is an EG account team in place, the Inside Sales Representative provides timely TSS inputs to EG-wide account plan, and collaborates with the account team to successfully deliver results upon the plan.
·  o   Responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date opportunity pipeline. The Inside Sales Representative works with management to provide accurate and regular sales forecast, related to assigned accounts/territory.
·  o   Participates in the negotiation of terms and conditions as necessary for closing deals and, in the continual process improvements, recommends best practices for the team as applicable.
·  o   Creates, maintains and implements a sales development plan for main assigned accounts.
·  o   Interacts as required with cross functional organizations on a country/regional basis such as Service Line, Global Support Delivery, Engagement & Pursuit, Global Operations, Infrastructure Product Management, Legal, Finance, and senior management to ensure sales objectives and goals are met.
·  o   Creation of the funnel for post-warranty via our channel partners. Contact them on a regular basis to follow-up and assist where needed in order to get the renewals done.
·  Knowledge and skills
·  o   Solid telesales and commercial skills.
·  o   Listens to customer needs and tailors messages to customers based on their needs and ties-in additional upsell campaigns, upgrades, or extended services.
·  o   Must have a team player spirit.
·  o   Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities.
·  o   Must be able to apply subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommend appropriate alternatives.
·  o   Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.
·  o   Exhibits knowledge of HPE portfolio of services and infrastructure products, and capacity to learn and utilize product / service resources to meet job requirements.
·  o   Consistently meets or exceeds metrics related to $ target.
·  o   Demonstrates good knowledge of HPE CRM tool in order to provide accurate and timely inputs to sales forecast upon management request.
·  o   Knows and understands HPE’s sales tools and processes.
·  o   Strong presentation and communication skills.
·  o   Excel: medium to highly skilled
·  o   SQL: basic understanding of databases
·  o   Basic programming skills are a bonus.
·  Education and experience for hiring
·  o   Two year university/ associate degree or equivalent experience.
·  o   And/or 1-3 years of experience in a related field
·  o   Good organization and analysis skills
·  o   Knowledge of assigned discipline or technical area.
·  o   Written and communication skills in English, French and Dutch to a professional working level required.
