Job Description:

   

The HPE Supply Chain Planning organization represents a team of responsive, global product managers and experts who collaborate and develop accurate requirement plans for the wide variety of products that HPE offers its customers.  This global organization, focused on the services-led and software-enabled infrastructure and solutions, collaborate with functions like NPI, Product Engineering, Sourcing, PDM, Manufacturing, Logistics, & Strategy teams within the Supply Chain which leads to an accurate requirements plan that is communicated to our suppliers.

The overall goal of this position is to fully own and drive Master Data Management transformation initiatives from Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Ariba Signal Collaboration which will enable the Planning organization to carry out their functions and tasks in a streamlined and uninterrupted manner. Key responsibility of this position is the ability to deliver best in class planning master data solutions and operations (processes and systems) to the company.

Education and Experience

Typically 6-10 years work experience in supply chain, strategy, planning, operations, or related functional area. Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Assess, develop, and track planning master data metrics that can be communicated to management to determine overall accuracy and health of our applications
·  Develop, enhance, and drive master data processes for NPI setups across the IBP Demand and Supply modules
·  Identify and drive any streamlining capabilities within the master data team
·  Lead complex issues to resolution providing clear communications to stakeholders as needed
·  Act as first level of escalation for any Planning master data issues across all IBP modules
·  Work closely with IT developing the right metric and systems check to ensure signals from the IBP application are calculated accurately.
·  Develop end-to-end planning master data expertise in order to be able to coach & mentor other master data analysts on the team, as well as demand and supply planners in the Planning organization

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Strong understanding of Planning and master data domain
·  Capability and experience in understanding data flows and manipulations between multiple systems in an IT environment
· 
Experience in SQL is mandatory

·  Experience in SAP ECC/S4 and/or IBP, preferably in a manufacturing environment
·  Experience in Product Structuring, BOMs, Supply Networks, & Hierarchy beneficial
·  Experience in platform data migration from ECC to S4/HANA would be an advantage
·  Strong understanding of IT environments and ability to identify Tidal & Data Integration errors in support of root cause analysis and resolution
·  Ability to understand transactional and master data errors, drive root cause analysis, and create preventative measures for future occurrences
·  Ability to “tell the story” through presentations
·  Capability to digest current workloads and develop reporting and KPIs reflecting current status and performance
·  Extensive knowledge of research methodology for key business issues.
·  Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
·  Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis.
·  Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using SAP, Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
·  Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·  Very strong project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives.
·  Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
·  Developed leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management.
·  Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data.
