About the Operations Support Internal Project Manager

HPE Pointnext is looking for highly qualified and motivated candidates for a role as an Operations Support Internal Project Manager to be located in San Antonio, TX. No relocation assistance available.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships and ensuring transition of work occurs internally and externally for HPE. Additionally, you will be a member of the Field Service Management (FSM) tools team, who is responsible for creating business requirements, prioritization of requirements, working with our engineering team, and conducting user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

As the Operations Support Internal Project Manager, you will:

·  provide Program Management of existing vendor through transition of work into the HPE Customer Solution Center (CSC) and Field Delivery Partner
·  maintain HPE systems and ensure proper vendor system configuration with respect to Customer Engineer data, geographical alignments, skills data, resident assignments, and Service Delivery Instructions (SDI) data
·  on a daily basis, addresses service escalations around tools, parts and Field Delivery Partners issues; this may be in the form of actual data entry, coordination with IT, or dissemination of information to other internal or external partner contact points
·  define, review, approve and prioritize business requirements
·  design and builds for new tool enhancements for each FSM release as well as future replacements for FSM tools
·  participate in User Acceptance testing (UAT) for FSM, Next Generation IT (NGIT) and Hana projects, as well as post-deployment business validation of new releases/upgrades
·  create and assign special tasks as required for transition efforts or other exception and crunch situations
·  act as Supply Chain interface for projects such as Remote Inventory Sourcing (RIS), SmartBox setup, etc., as they relate to or impact GSD
·  Review and approve all Dispatch, Onsite and Part Ordering requests for Special Delivery Instructions (SDI) prior to having them added to Salesforce
·  Provide support and subject matter expertise for Dispatch and Onsite tools and processes within HPE and for external partners—includes ongoing feedback and coaching to agents/engineers
·  perform other duties as needed or assigned

You’ll have the opportunity to work on the back office tools and support systems which enable our Field Delivery teams’ success, while gaining experience as an Operations Support Internal Project Manager, which can lead to future careers within HPE.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required

·  Bachelor’s degree
·  7+ years in project management roles
·  Without a degree, an additional 2 years’ relevant experience, for a total of 9+ years

Knowledge and Skills Required

·  Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key Services' operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management
·  Speaks with authority to most layers of depth related to project management methods
·  Makes use of and contributes to Services PM Profession community
·  PMP certified; without PMP certification, must attain the certification within one year of hire
