Due to recent growth across HPE, we have a brand new opportunity for a Business Development Manager - IT Services, to join our PointNext team in London/Bracknell. 

PointNext help customers use technology to slash the time it takes to turn ideas into value. In turn, they transform industries, markets, and lives.

Some of our customers run traditional IT environments. Most are transitioning to a secure, cloud-enabled, mobile-friendly infrastructure. Many rely on a combination of both. Wherever they are in this journey, we provide the technology and solutions to help them succeed!

Joining HPE as a Business Development Manager, you will be working as part of a well established, stable, and high performing team with extensive exposure to senior internal stakeholders across the UK & Ireland.
You would be responsible for leading pursuit, collaborating with and supporting Account Managers and providing specialist expertise within the sales team. You will drive proactive campaigns to build pipeline, share expert knowledge, and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities. You may have some named accounts allocated to you however you will need to develop relationships with new logos to drive your overall territory revenue.

Responsibilities:

· 
Use your expertise to seek out new revenue opportunities by expanding and enhancing existing accounts, building pipeline and driving pursuit initiatives

· 
Work with the broader team to create strategic and targeted business development plans

· 
Selling complex IT services to customers on a partnership basis

· 
Establish a trusted and consultative relationship with your clients up to c-suite level

· 
Maintain and use your  HPE cross-portfolio knowledge to drive the sell through of other infrastructure and service solutions

Education and Experience Required:

· 
University or Bachelor's degree (or QBE)

· 
Extensive years of related sales experience

· 
Experience within the technology sector is highly desirable but not essential

You will ideally:

· 
Be considered an expert in your field with exceptional relationship building skills

· 
Use your expertise specialty, consultative solution selling and business development skills to align the client's business needs with a solution

· 
Demonstrate leadership and initiative in successfully driving services sales in accounts - prospecting, negotiating and closing deals

· 
Able to balance strategic and tactical pursuits to optimize coverage and develop a predictable revenue stream.

· 
Demonstrating the ability to leverage HPE’s portfolio of products and services to maintain a competitive advantage whilst delivering service excellence at all times
