As a key contributor to the team, the UX Designer will be instrumental in creating an innovative, compelling and coherent user experience for a suite of applications that will drive users to higher levels of productivity and engagement. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to work with Product Managers (PMs) and Functional Architects (FAs) to drive the UX direction.  A track record of delivering successful enterprise-class, web-based applications and working in fast-paced Agile scrum teams is required.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with PMs and FAs to build a creative, compelling and unified user experience across the organization’s applications

• Analyze feature requirements and develop interactive designs, including wireframes and prototypes

• Articulate logic flows as well as screen-flows and page states and transitions to the project team

• Review and iterate on designs with both PMs/FAs and web developers to achieve an intuitive, practical UX design

• Incorporate mobile requirements as well as persona-based user scenarios into the design

• Deliver HTML/CSS to web developers for implementation

• Conduct usability testing on designs

• Continually seek out new trends and technology in UX

• Work in a fast-paced Agile scrum team and ensure the integrity of the UI through communication and collaboration with other team members

Education, Skills And Experience 

• Extensive experience with designing user-centric online applications and/or software, on a Software Development team

• Strong UX background with responsive browser-based applications, cognizant of latest trends in UI design

• Familiarity with web and mobile front ends to design optimal screen flows that developers can implement using frameworks such as AngularJS, Bootstrap, etc.

• Ability to analyze spoken and written requirements to create Interaction Designs

• Demonstrated aesthetic sensibility via a portfolio of prior work

• Excellent layout skills such as proper usage of white space, contrast, consistency, precedence, and gestalt design principles

• Graphics and color skills with the ability to create effective icons and images

• Experience creating personas and using them to drive user-centered design

• Ability to facilitate collaborative requirements definition meetings

Pluses

• Understanding of Network, Data Center and/or Virtual Machine basics

• Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Software Design, or a related field

• Experience with Software Development Processes such as Agile, XP, Scrum, etc.

Education and Experience 

·  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
·  Minimum 3-5 years’ experience

Knowledge and Skills

· Using software applications design tools and languages.

· Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.

·Designing software applications running on multiple platform types

· Software applications testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools

· Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.

·Strong Knowledge of Java, EJB, networking

· Knowledge of network management is an added advantage

· Work on Network Management Center’s flag ship product called NNMi (Network Node Manager)
