Embedded firmware/hardware engineer to involve in all phases of embedded system development including schematic capture, PCB layout, HW bring-up, tooling, and firmware development.   

Responsibilities:

·        Leads design, implementation, and verification of both the hardware schematics/layout/tooling and FPGA logic design/embedded firmware coding for projects.

·        Manages relationships with internal and outsourced development partners. 

·        Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality.

·        Provides domain-specific expertise, leadership, perspective to cross-organization activities and supports.  

·        Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities.

Education and Experience Required:

·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

·        Typically 8+ years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

·        Using electrical design tools and software packages

·        Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·        Experience in overall architecture of electronic hardware for products and solutions.

·        Designing and integrating electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms into overall architecture

·        Working experience or familiar with PCI Express Gen2/3/4

·        Protocol knowledges (PCI Express, I2C, USB, UART, etc.)

·        Server and/or PC architecture knowledge

·        The use and debug of FPGA, CPLD

·        Verilog and C programming language experiences

·        HW board design from schematic to assembled test board

·        Signal and protocol analyzer experiences.  Troubleshooting experiences

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language

·        Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels
