Ensures that the company converts revenue to cash by determining appropriate credit levels and collecting accounts receivable. Manages credit and collection processes, ensures compliance with company policy and legal requirements, assures process quality, and provides training and support. Analyzes customer´s financial condition to determine credit limit and risk rating. Maintains on-going relationships with high-value customers and sales organizations. Monitors e- commerce systems and credit card transactions to detect fraud. Ensures payments are collected in a timely manner and resolves issues and disputes that prevent customer payment.

Responsibilities:

•            Analyzes customers financial statements and recommends customer credit limits.

•            Resolves credit issues independently.

•            Negotiates credit mitigation tools with company sales staff (down payment, corporate guaranty, stand by letter of credit, etc).

•            Intermediate understanding of accounts in a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement.

Education and Experience Required:

•            First level university degree with a focus in accounting/business/finance or equivalent experience.

•            Experience in corporate credit.

Fluent English (ability to write a credit analysis and participate of conference calls in English)

Knowledge and Skills:

•            Intermediate written and verbal communication skills (feel comfortable talking on the phone with the Sales team to resolve issues or understand credit requests, instead of only communicating via email).

•            Intermediate accounting knowledge.

•            Intermediate problem solving skills.

•            Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (most importantly Excel)

•            Intermediate prioritization skills.

•            Intermediate understanding of financial concepts.

•            Intermediate negotiation skills.
