Job description: Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet related tools.  Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

Responsibilities:

·  System programmers responsible for design and development of features in File system technologies that form the core solutions for Hyper converged, Software Defined Storage and Cloud products.
·  This is an opportunity to be part of research and development team of HPE and work in niche areas of storage and hyper converged solutions.
·  Experience in C and Linux Kernel programming. Storage domain expertise with NAS, File systems and distributed computing.
·  Experience in Kubernetes, Containers and Virtualization is preferred
·  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
·  Designing software systems running on multiple platform types. Understanding of Software testing methodology, unit testing, debugging and testing scripts and tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·  Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.

Education and Experience Required:

·  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
·  Typically 3-6 years’ experience.
