The Hyperscale Engineering team supports HPE's service provider customers which comprise one of the fastest growing segments.  The Hyperscale engineering team is responsible for interfacing with today’s largest scale out customers, understanding their ever-changing needs, developing industry changing technology and delivering solutions at a scale out pace and scope.  As a Hyperscale engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with the largest scale out customers in the industry on an ongoing basis.The HPE Hyperscale engineer position will work to design, develop, and deliver server, storage, and infrastructure solutions optimized for large internet service provider and cloud computing environments.The HPE hyperscale engineer will be responsible for working with the customer to design rack level solutions, qualify platforms with the customer-specified configurations, and debug & resolve technical issues (servers, storage, power, etc)

Designs, analyzes, develops, modifies and evaluates electrical/electronic parts, components, sub-systems, algorithms, or integrated circuitry for electrical/electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Conducts feasibility studies, design margin and validation analyses and empirical testing on new and modified designs.  Assists in architecture development and assessment.  Evaluates reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques used in production.  May direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication.

Responsibilities

·  Responsible electrical hardware design and development for complex products, solutions, and platforms, including design, validation, tooling and testing.
·  Works with outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
·  Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality.
·  Provides domain-specific expertise and overall electrical/electronic hardware and platform leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities
·  Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the electrical hardware design organization.

Education and Experience

·  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
·  Minimum 0-2 years experience

Knowledge and Skills

·  Experience or understanding of electrical design tools and software packages.
·  Good analytical and problem solving skills.
·  Understanding of design for electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms
·  Understanding of thermal and electromagnetic properties of materials and managing emissions.
·  Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
