Business Intelligence Developer (Cognos) (Secret Clearance)

Job description

The resource must be able to access the eMILPO and DTAS Development and Test environments via VPN.

· The resource will enhance the DTAS web applications to comply with 508 requirements.
· The resource will maintain the Cognos query model and dimensions.
· The resource will develop Cognos reports.
· The resource will develop PL/SQL functions, procedures, and views.
· The resource will monitor the performance of scheduled jobs.
· The resource will maintain the eMILPO Infosphere tool, which is responsible for the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process supporting the distribution of data to the eMILPO Datastore database.

Desired profile

The resource must have one year of experience developing ASP.NET web applications.
The resource must have six months of experience with Cognos and knowledge of PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and views.
he resource must have 1 year of experience developing queries in an Oracle environment.
The resource should have good written and verbal communication skills.
The resource must be a U.S. citizen and posses a DoD Secret clearance.
