In a typical day as a Automation QA Engineer, you would,
Design & Develop Tests and perform Test execution on the software solutions developed for HP Servers. The candidate should have detailed knowledge in Computer Architecture, Operating Systems & administration, Software Development Life cycle, Agile Methodology, Test Automation, Technical, Analytical, communication & presentation skills who can strive in fast paced environments. The candidate should have fair experience in Test Case development, Test execution, Test Automation.
In short, the candidate will be responsible for all aspects of development of embedded software needed for technologies/solutions/products that HPE offers on its servers.
If you…
Have Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with Minimum
3-5 years’ experience
MUST have Hands-on Experience on Python, Javascript & Java to develop tools and framework for test purpose.
Knowledge on Powershell, .NET & C# will be a plus for framework & test purpose.
Knowledge on ReSTful/Redfish API testing
Black/white -box testing
Install/Uninstall and Upgrade/Downgrade testing
Continuous Integration testing
Component testing, Functional/Sub-System testing
Performance/Load/Stress/ Stability/Scalability testing
Security testing
Embedded FW Testing
Good knowledge on KVM or Virtual environments
Backward/future compatibility testing
Test designing & Error Injection
Administration of Windows , RHEL, SUSE, VMware, Ubuntu
SDLC & Agile development process
Knowledge on JSON/XML and HTML CSS.
Willing to work alone with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively as a part of a larger team.
Must be independent, quick learner and possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Demonstrated track record of learning new technologies, creating development test strategy and execution plan.
Has good understanding of OS & its fundamentals along with sound understanding of Computer Hardware.
Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging capability.
Ability to analyze corner cases, timing issues, security loopholes, scaling performances, etc.
Strong programming/scripting experience in any of the following languages or Scripting skills (bash/Python/JavaScript)
Powershell, .NET & C# skills are a plus
A strong desire to use Open Source testing tools as well as the view of Optimizing & Automation Tasks.
