Help maintain/enhance the infrastructure used for the validation (authentication and verification) of new and renewal internal HPE customer enrollments to ensure the delivery of a secure/trusted product to our customers and partners.
Responsibilities:
Perform and prioritize the following:
· Documented knowledge of servers, networking, storage, databases, management tools and high availability.
· Help design, enhance and update the current and any future infrastructure to ensure:
· 100% compliance of our validation procedures
· Provision of maximum security requirements; i.e. be ‘best in practice’
· Optimized for workload throughput
· All customer satisfaction goals are being met - Issues are addressed in a timely manner and workloads are processed in a timely manner
· Active participation with team to
· Maintain/enhance a secure validation process to verify each HPE customer request has the legal right to request and/or administer the digital certificate
· Produce/maintain custom code, infrastructure and high level of security as needed for HPE codesigning/authenticationactivities
· Promote teamwork, collaboration and a positive work environment both within the department; as well as with other departments. Maintain a high level of integrity in all actions and communications.
· Be willing to seek assistance from team members and/or management if needed to resolve policy, process and procedural issues.
· Stay up to date on security with a focus on security signing – work with internal teams on future needs and help develop plans for continued enhancements and improvements
Education and Experience Required:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and/or equivalent college and work experience.
· Applicant must be a US citizen
· Applicant must have 1-3 years of documented technical experience and working knowledge of the following:
· Linux, Mac OS X and Windows server operating systems
· Hypervisor - Windows and VMware
· Linux, Mac OS X and Windows Service OS malware scanning and signing tools
· Java Programming, Python scripting and/or SQL database
· Building out hardware infrastructure consisting of servers, networking, storage, firewall and load balancing equipment
Knowledge and Skills:
· Capable of quickly learning new technologies and products as needed
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
