We currently have an opening for an Associate Solution Advisor to join our Pointnext Advisory and Enterprise Architecture team. Based in Melbourne, this is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is currently working as Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator or Consultant who is keen to take their next career leap into an Advisory focused role.
Reporting to the Manager - Advisory and Enterprise Architecture, who you will work closely with and shadow. As your capability grows you will independently own more Consulting activities yourself.
This role is responsible for providing business and/or technical advisory to clients by championing HPE solutions.
As Associate Solution Advisor, you will:
Work with clients and HPE sales to build client digital transformation opportunities focusing on Hybrid IT and Cloud, application modernisation and consumption-based services
Have basic understanding of how core infrastructure components including servers, storage and networking are configured and how they can be optimised to provide better value to clients
Understand how software layer concepts and technologies including hypervisors, containers, automation and orchestration tools and other integration platforms can be applied to customers environments to improve delivery of services
Works with various stakeholders to produce solutions which outline end-to-end design considerations and dependencies that deliver options to help drive customer transformation initiatives and business outcomes and technology process
Understand the client’s business requirements and current state operating methods and be able to identify and clearly articulate the gaps that need addressing relating to people
Works closely with account team to identify new opportunities in early stages of sales development
Communicate key value propositions and technical requirements, as well as quantify the impact of the business problem(s), identify the strengths and weaknesses of the overall proposed solution, and deliver solutions to achieve long-term business objective
Track activity throughout the sales cycle using specific tools and resources
About you :
IT experience in either a Consulting, Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator role. You will most likely have a few years’ experience or more in your career and are now enthusiastic to take your next career leap
Exposure to and understanding of a wide range of technologies across Hybrid IT, Data & Analytics and Edge/Network
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Confidence and ability to present, facilitate and interface with customers
Knowledge based industry certifications highly regarded
Ability to meet the targets KPIs
