The Application Partner Operations Organizer role manages a portfolio of applications to deliver the greatest business value for the organization through the services of our suppliers and partners.  The Application Partner Operations team serves as liaisons between Applications and Business Relationship Management (BRM) leaders and HPE IT Suppliers and partners to drive business alignment, performance attainment and issue resolution, and health of the vendor relationship.  This role will assess the health of assigned application portfolio, manage SLA, and propose contract extensions/adjustments.

Responsibilities

·  Working with HPE leaders, this role will work to ensure HPE and vendors are meeting SLAs.
·  Propose new contract extensions/adjustments, and review project spend with partners.
·  Establishes and maintains relationships with Applications leaders and BRM’s within their area of responsibilities.
·  Uses specific applications knowledge and general business acumen to support effective supplier/partner engagement for mission critical and critical applications.
·  Ensures vendor and partner contracts are executed to the terms of the contract.
·  Finds opportunities for improving the business from the vendor contracts.
·  Communicates specific decisions to Supplier/partner support team.
·  Continuously improves financial efficiencies of application portfolio.
·  Proactively gets engaged in new applications development and drives applications decommissioning.
·  Follow defined processes and identifies areas for simplification or improvement.

Education and Experience

·  Typically a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
·  Or a Master’s degree and up to 2 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills

·  Strong written and verbal skills. Experience working in key vendor and IT resource relationships.
·  Experience participating in IT projects. Experience in working with defined processes.

Impact/Scope

·  Works with IT teams, functions, or geographies on focused solutions.
·  Participates in key enterprise projects and/or solutions that support contract efficiency improvements with supplier/partners.

Complexity

·  Works across a significant number of the suppliers, functions, and geographies to ensure their needs are met.
·  Careful balance between vendor expectations and HPE’s interests
