The Healthcare Organization of HP is seeking a Technical Writer – Entry Level
Responsibilities:· Writing technical documentation such as User Manuals, Installation Guides, Release Notes, etc.
· Acquire or verify document information by interviewing workers engaged in developing new products and services or in making improvements, observing performance of experiments and methods of production, referring to blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings and notes, trade and engineering journals, rewrites of articles, bulletins, manuals, or similar publications.
· Identify versioning requirements, process draft deliverables or reports into required formats, provide presentation development support, process mapping support, as well as support all written communications efforts and coordination with standard document templates.
· Managing Document Libraries.
· Edit and propose revisions to documents.
· Provide administrative support as needed.
Desired profile
Required:
· College Degree (minimum Bachelors)
· Demonstrated experience working with:
· Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· SharePoint Document Libraries
· Adobe Acrobat Professional
Desired:
· Document control management support including; editing, identifying versioning requirements, monitoring status, and presentation development support, managing, tracking of store program deliverables, action items, decisions and other documentation in an assigned collaboration area such as Technical Services Project Repository (TSPR) utilized by the U.S. Department of Veterans affairs.
