The Project & Role

We are ready to launch into the next stage of our business by developing our ecommerce website on Shopify. We are a small team so everything being done on a day to day basis has an immediate and important impact on the development of our company. It is important to have an entrepreneurial mentality, positive attitude, great work ethic and be willing to go the extra mile to get the job done right. An ambitious start-up. House of Gharats is a design house, fusing cultures and blurring the lines between art and fashion, producing a clever approach to everyday dressing and living. House of Gharats endeavours to fuse cultures through art and fashion, redefining cultural relationships, and creating new style synergies. The House of Gharats is carving out a niche market by engaging with craftspeople, reviving traditional skills, non-traditional materials, sophisticated tailoring, modern technologies, bold colours, fanciful details and novel prints to challenge conventional ideals of style.

Skills

- Practical experience of Word press
- Good knowledge of design softwares to work on product images
- Awareness of Shopify platform
- Basic HTML

Duration
6 weeks to 3 months role, starting immediately
Flexible Full Time or Part Time
Our house studio is in Ruislip Gardens, London (good access on Central, Piccadilly and Metropolitan lines)

All Travel Expenses Paid
All London travel expenses will be paid for the duration of the placement.

Experience & Opportunity
You will be working on realtime projects that we aim to exhibit / publish in relation to the brand. At the end of the internship you would have a strong portfolio piece and well rounded hands on experience. All due credits will be given to your published work
