JOB DESCRIPTION:
At a Glance:

As an intern in the Global Sourcing & Procurement area you will be working closely with different Category Managers to assist in the end-to-end sourcing and procurement process. The intern will be part of a team responsible for sourcing and procurement across the Hotelbeds Group. We are looking for an ambitious intern with a hands-on mentality.

Main Responsibilities:
-Providing multi-category support as assigned (marketing, IT, General expenses, Travel and more)
-Assisting with executing competitive bid events and other sourcing projects (Including preparing tender documentation, corresponding with vendors, obtaining quotes from vendors and evaluating bids received)
-Assisting with issuing POs (purchase orders) for the different categories and inspecting merchandise to verify conformance to PO
-Building out and maintaining the internal Procurement website, keeping links and documents up to date and adding new content
-Review contracts and archive those effectively
-General office support, such as supporting documentation management, shipping and receiving
-Give full support to the team in the day-by-day activities of the area and support in the completion of other projects as needed

Other valuable experience/skills:
-Knowledge about travel industry
-Process oriented
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
-Experience with JIRA and SharePoint a plus
