·         Classification:  Part-Time

·         Shift:  Weekends – must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Ideally Friday and Saturdays 

 

 

What will I be doing?

As a Reservations Agent, you would be responsible for answering reservation communications in a welcoming and professional tone using the highest standards of guest service and Forbes Standards. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:

·  Answer all communications in a timely manner, extending excellent service and Forbes standards with all guest interactions. Processes group reservation information including rooming lists, suites, resumes and billing requirements. 
· 
Communicates and verifies information between Meeting Planners, Housing Bureaus, Meetings and Conventions and Front Office. 

· 
Processes reservation request calls as appropriate.

·  Process all group contracts from the Sales Department. Obtains data from various sources. Enters all group blocks into reservations computer system and verifies correctness of data entered against the data received. Follows up with Sales Department regarding all questions that stem from the groups. Monitors group blocks after they have been entered into the computer system. 

 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

·  Systems- Passkey & OnQ experience 
·  Reservations (Group and Transient) experience
·  Detail Oriented 
·  Professional communication skills, written and verbal
