Job Requirements

·  Strong cooking skills with the ability to follow recipes and presentation standards
·  Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
·  Excellent time management and multitasking skills
·  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
·  Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
·  Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
·  High School Diploma or equivalent required

Work Experience

·  Minimum of 3 months of cooking experience in a full-service restaurant or hotel
·  Experience preparing food for à la carte service, buffets, banquets, and hors d’oeuvres
·  Experience opening and setting up a kitchen station for service
·  Preparing sauces, soups, buffet entrées, and transitioning between meal periods
·  Cooking orders accurately and promptly as received from waitstaff
·  Learning and executing menus, recipes, preparation methods, and presentation standards
·  Proper food storage and temperature control
·  Preparing appropriate quantities of food based on business needs
·  Supporting other kitchen departments as needed
·  Advance prep for upcoming shifts as directed
·  Maintaining compliance with state, county, and company health and safety regulations
