What will I be doing?

A Food and Beverage Coordinator is responsible for performing general administrative duties directly reporting to the Food and Beverage Director and support administrative tasks to the entire F&B department. In addition, ensuring all F&B menu, printed and digital collaterals are up to date and in good physical condition as directed by the Food and Beverage Director. Provide high-level administrative support by conducting competition checks and research, preparing and distributing weekly/monthly reports, resolving guest issues by directing them to the Food and Beverage Director’s attention, and also performing clerical functions. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

·         Provide administrative support to the Food and Beverage Director and all F&B outlets.

·         Create requests for Purchase Order (PO) through Birchstreet, and ensure all orders are placed in a timely manner.

·         Manage and maintain the Food and Beverage Director calendar schedules, meetings, and appointments.

·         Responsible for handling the payroll using the HITS system. Ensure payroll deadline is met accordingly.

·         Assist restaurants reservation if required.

·         Assist and supports the F&B department operations if needed.

·         Assist another department in relative operations.

·         Transmits any orders or decisions taken by the Food and Beverage Director promptly to team members as per his directive.

·         Compile and file confidentially any HR relevant documents.

·         Record, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings.

·         Maintain and organize F&B files or documents.

·         Attends queries or prepared reports.

·         Answer telephone and respond to caller inquiries in a pleasant manner.

·         Cascade information and ensure communication is effectively passed to the Food and Beverage Director with accurate information.

·         Responsible for ordering office supplies for the entire F&B department and ensuring the inventory.

·         Support the team to drive high guest satisfaction scores for all F&B areas.

·         Design, upload, extract and maintain an F&B customer database.

·         Perform venue site tours with potential clients and host-guest(s) at the outlets when required.

·    Answer client/booker’s questions about property facilities/services (e.g. restaurants’ hours of operation, menus, prices, packages, promotions, entertainment, and corporate partnerships, etc.).

·      Ensure all complaints received by phone, emails, and reviews are communicated to the Food and Beverage Director immediately and must be replied to within 48 hours to customers.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Previous Food and Beverage and/or industry experience in an administrative or a similar role
