Description - Internal

A Resort Host is responsible for seating guests and managing table set-ups to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while working to achieve departmental targets.

What will I be doing?

 

This position is concerned with the assisting the Food and Beverage Outlets and Jiwa in managing database, promoting outlets with available resources and tools, arranging team marketing activity, and other actions necessary to achieve optimum effectiveness and to maximize sales opportunities for F&B outlets and Jiwa Conrad Bali.

 

 

·         To communicate with both internal and external customers in a polite and constructive manner.

·         To perform duties in a safe, secure manner and ensure the cleanliness, safety and security of guest and working areas is maintained to the Conrad Bali standards.

·         To contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational and environmental procedures in the Hotel especially F&B Outlets and Jiwa Marketing related concern.

·         To actively promote the services and facilities of the Conrad Bali to targeted guests of the Hotel.

·         To attend and actively participate in F&B and Jiwa Departmental communication meetings and sharing necessary feedback got from guest after any event

·         To perform any tasks of a reasonable nature as required and requested by Food and Beverage and Jiwa Manager.

·         To wear the correct (attire) and maintain a neat, clean appearance as specified in the Grooming Standards for (non-uniformed) staff.

·         To observe all policies and procedures of the Conrad Bali as outlined in the Employees Handbook and the Policy Manual.

·         To develop business from the areas of responsibility and to reach targets set.

·         To develop business from designated specialty areas such as corporate companies, groups, etc.

·         To actively seek out new and repeat Catering and accommodation business utilizing database. 

·         To prepare and submit quotations ensuring that they are handled within the standard time of 24 hours, follow up with decision makers until a conclusion is reached and obtain confirmation and deposits.

·         To follow up post function with clients and action any feedback.

·         To maintain and update client database.

·         To submit a weekly report, accurate weekly call plan and monthly activity report.

·         To attend and participate in F&B and Jiwa department meetings.

·         To attend industry related functions, client events and hotel related functions.

·         To keep accurate records of leads and potential business using both files and the computer system and compile weekly and monthly reports on business achieved.

·         To assist in preparing the yearly F&B and Jiwa Marketing Plan.

·          To be required to work weekends and busy days operations.

·          Being proactive in sourcing new business.

·         To attend training programs as designated.

·         Previous Food and Beverage and/or industry experience

·         Experience with cash handling

·         Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations
