Commercial Analyst – Group, Meetings & Events (Hilton Singapore Orchard)

Job description

The Commercial Analyst – Group, Meetings & Events (GM&E) supports the Revenue Manager – GM&E by delivering accurate, timely reporting and maintaining forecasting tools across Catering & Events and related Rooms business. The role is execution-focused and responsible for preparing commercial performance analysis, maintaining data integrity within Delphi and related systems, and producing structured reporting and presentation materials to support pricing, yield and inventory decisions. The Commercial Analyst does not own revenue strategy but enables effective decision-making through disciplined analysis and reporting.

What will you be doing? 
As Commercial Analyst - GM&E, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

1. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
•    Prepare daily and weekly GM&E pace and pickup reports
•    Monitor performance versus budget, forecast and prior year
•    Track booking trends, lead time mix, segment performance and channel contribution
•    Highlight risks and variances clearly for Revenue Manager review
•    Maintain structured reporting templates for consistency and accuracy

2. Forecast & Budget Support
•    Maintain GM&E forecast files and revenue tracking models
•    Update rolling forecasts based on booking activity
•    Support annual budget preparation and periodic reforecast cycles
•    Validate revenue data to ensure alignment across systems

3. Commercial Review & Presentation Support
•    Prepare weekly and monthly commercial review presentations 
•    Consolidate analysis for sales strategy and revenue meetings
•    Produce citywide event summaries and demand impact reports
•    Ensure all reporting materials meet professional presentation standards

4. Data Integrity & Systems Discipline
•    Ensure accurate data entry and segment coding in Delphi
•    Monitor booking status accuracy
•    Validate revenue attribution across Rooms and Catering
•    Support clean CRM data to ensure reporting reliability
•    Maintain structured analytical files and version control

5. Performance Tracking & Insight Support
•    Track conversion metrics and lost business reasons
•    Monitor tentative vs definite ratios
•    Identify booking pace shifts and short-term pickup changes
•    Provide structured analytical input to support pricing and yield discussions
•    Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

•    Degree in Business, Finance, Analytics or related discipline preferred
