The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is now recruiting for an Assistant Beverage Manager in the Conference and Events department. The successful candidate assisting with managing all Conference and Events operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while optimising sales and ensuring targets are met. What will I be doing?

As Assistant Beverage Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Organising the team and beverage service for the different events of the day
  • Communicating duties to the supervisory team
  • Ensuring stock is ordered according to business levels
  • Ensuring staff receive their rota and an additional casual and agency staff have been booked
  • Billing tabs to the correct accounts across each event of the day
  • Writing reports with details of the event and send them to the team


What are we looking for?

  • Strong knowledge of hotel/leisure/service sector
  • Record of success in Conference and Beverage, specifically the ability to deliver profit, control costs, and build customer loyalty
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Exceptional leadership skills to create a winning team

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Conference and Events Operations experience in a managerial position in hotel/Events Centre or similar
