Intern – Reporting to the Manager, eCommerce Business Analysis of the Hertz Corporation

Job purpose

The eCommerce BA Intern is responsible for assisting with all facets of studying the information requirements of the business function as they pertain to Hertz’s branded websites (hertz.com, hertzequip.com, etc.) and designing solutions to satisfy them. The Business Analysis team is responsible for specifying the software/website requirements and, as such, is considered the intermediary with the programming staff.

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities for the Business Intern are to:

·  Support the Business Analysis team where necessary in the following areas:
·  Solution generation
·  User support for certain website applications
·  Production problem investigation
·  Bug reporting
·  Omniture website analytics research
·  Website application testing
·  Competitive Analysis
·  Content creation
·  Documentation

Knowledge/Skills:

·  Ability to write clearly and unambiguously in English.
·  Ability to present ideas publicly and persuasively in English
·  Analytical mind
·  Ability to work closely with eCommerce staff without being fazed by the technology.
·  Possess an entrepreneurial spirit – desire to find a better, faster, cheaper solution that creates a business competitive advantage.
