Summary: Work on manufacturing quality issues on a daily basis. Collect and perform analysis of data on daily, monthly and quarterly basis to support improvement of plant operations.

What we offer

· Check documented processes against actual practices on both an informal basis during routine activities and on a formal basis as part of the internal audit program.
· Support inspection of panels, circuits, and heat plates and checks all inspection points for quality issues.
· Handle special projects and research as directed.
· Perform audits of the various ISO 9001 and IATF/TS16949 elements.
· Perform a variety of lab analysis of products and materials. Write reports as needed.
· For prototype orders, review all documents in the router packet to assure they are complete and are properly signed off prior to sending to stock.
· Responsible for having all reference documents and standards available for the manufacturing inspectors.
· Generate corrective actions on repetitive problems or preventative actions on potential ones.
· Participate in setting the Bergquist company's visual quality standards for circuits and panels.
· Perform prototype 1st article inspections including establishing inspection programs on the OGP Smartscope/Optical CMM
· Collect data, summarize actions, and generate the monthly quality reporting, as needed.
· Support the operation and maintenance of the AOI and Smartscope.
· Provide leadership in implementing and maintaining SPC in manufacturing cells.
· Perform process capability studies as required using Excel or MiniTab software.
· Collect data from MRB on the panel line, circuit line products and generates improvement actions and recommend improvement projects to address common / repeat issues.
· Collect and trend data from hi-pot and e-test processes and recommends improvement actions based on this data.
· Monitor any RMA's arriving and assist getting these received in the business system and dispositioned through MRB, as needed. May require follow-up to get rework completed.
· Support plant maintenance database and associated activities. • Participate in Material Review Board Activities and Feasibility Review to meet Customer Specific Requirements as needed.
· Assist in the ISO 14001 tasks as assigned • Perform other duties as assigned.
· Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

·  Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
·  Prior experience working with quality management systems in a manufacturing environment.

Highly Desired:

·  ASQ Certified Quality Technician or Quality Engineer.
·  Knowledge of six sigma, FMEA, process capability, and pareto chart.
·  Experience working with mathematical calculations/statistical analysis.
·  Able to collect and analyze data.
·  Able to look at ways to improve and promote quality throughout the plant.
·  Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Must be attentive to detail.
·  Able to work alone or in a team setting.
