The Purchasing Manager will be a key factor in supporting Henkel's global purchasing strategies. The purpose of this role is to lead the development of category strategies in the North America region for the Human Resources category, adapting the global strategic sourcing activities to overall regional business strategy while maintaining/improving supplier quality and supporting service levels.

What we offer

· Deliver results in key performance indicators, which bring financial benefit for Henkel in savings, cash networking capital, supplier base management, and supplier relationship management. Track forecasted versus actual benefits / KPI's for the Human Resource category and be responsible for communicating performance against these measures and their potential impact
· Foster and manage relationships with regional and global internal stakeholders
· Understand regional stakeholder requirements and define, develop and implement the optimal strategy for Henkel that delivers regional objectives while concurrently balancing these objectives in alignment with global objectives
· Establish and lead HR related sourcing projects including supplier identification, supplier vetting, initiation of sourcing events, design of sourcing events, collaboration of with internal stakeholders on the execution of the events using various sourcing and documentation tools, ensure completion of supplier selection evaluations, initiate contracts and work with suppliers and legal through the execution of contracts and initiate supplier onboarding.
· Develop and manage relationships with strategic suppliers that contribute to the higher performance of the company and deliver sustainable savings and/or incremental value to Henkel
· Support an overall framework for the Supplier Management process, including Supplier Segmentation, Supplier Onboarding, Scorecard Development, and Supplier Evaluation

Desired profile

Who we are looking for

·  Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
·  3-5+ years work experience in procurement in Indirect Materials and Services preferably with an emphasis in Human Resources
·  Understanding of Human Resource market drivers including supplier base, general industry information and cost drivers inclusive of, but not limited to insurance (i.e. medical, dental, life insurance, vision, third party administrator, etc. ) temporary labor, recruiting, relocation, payroll administration, as well as other areas within Human Resources
·  Advanced analytical capabilities and strong proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point
·  Working knowledge of SAP ERP system is a strong plus
·  Use and application of esourcing tools and software
·  Strong project management and leadership skills
·  Solid communication and collaboration skills for business stakeholders and vendor management
·  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
·  High energy, proactive, self-motivated and a team player
