Perform all material-handling job functions required in the aerosol area and ability to work any line within that department. Knowledge of products and procedures in the aerosol department. Supply all necessary materials for lines to maximize efficient and effective production.

What we offer

· Supply and load production lines with materials and in-process goods for packaging operation.
· Verify material conformance and report any issues to LC or Supervisor immediately.
· Move materials and products as assigned; complete necessary system transactions to complete the conversion process of WIP’s to finished goods
· Fill bins with bottles and caps to insure uninterrupted production.
· Load skid with various in-process and finished goods, mark with appropriate tickets, move off line and stage, load as necessary. Organize corrugated boxes and set up carton packaging, hand form boxes as necessary. Assist in line changeovers and some batch changes; make minor adjustments as directed.
· Check goods prior to release to shipping department for correctness.
· Keep work area neat, clean orderly; clean up spills and equipment.
· Tend filling and packaging to assist production technicians.
· Supply and load production lines with materials and in-process goods for all and packaging operation.
· Tend filling and packaging to assist Production Technicians.
· Fill in for Line Expeditors as required.
· Work with new employees to (train)
· Perform other duties as required.
· Understand complete safety protocol and operate under safety guidelines.

Who we are looking for

·  This position has safety requirements that exceed that of typical manufacturing areas.
·  Due to the heightened safety sensitivity in the aerosol area, employees must wear only cotton clothing and must wear Electro-Static Dissipative (ESD) shoes or bootstraps.
·  No cell phones, pagers, radios, or other electronic devices will be allowed in the aerosol area.
·  No lighters, matches, open flames, or any spark-generating device will be allowed in the aerosol area.
·  Employees working in the aerosol area will receive special training and must pass a written test to ensure retention of the information covered before they will be allowed to work in the aerosol area.
·  To ensure the safety of those working in the aerosol area, as well as the rest of the Geneva facility, employees applying for any position in the aerosol area must pass a pre-employment drug test before being assigned a position in the aerosol area.
·  Additionally, all employees working in the aerosol area will be subject to random drug testing for as long as they are assigned to the aerosol area. This will also apply to the backup employees for as long as they wish to be considered as backup employees.
·  The use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, and hygienic precautions, such as hairnets, are required.
·  In the manufacturing area, much of the work environment is not climate controlled and noise level is normal to moderate.
·  Employees working in the aerosol area must be able to work overtime with minimal advance notification based on the circumstances of production and business needs. Regular attendance is required.
·  Position Qualifications
·  Education and Experience: High school education or equivalent required.
·  Physical Requirements: The position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 35 pounds. Must be able to reach, lift, bend and stoop without restrictions. Good manual dexterity needed.
