What we offer (Position Description & Responsibilities):

· Establishes relationships with vendors in order to determine pricing and lead time on any non-standard equipment spare part
· Technical and equipment service phone queue support is required, part time.
· Perform inventory transactions within SAP and the Equipment Services Notes database in support of equipment repairs, rental and loaner stock, used equipment sales, and calibrations.
· Attracts potential customers by answering equipment product and service questions; suggesting information about any available equipment or services offered.
· Opens and enters customer records in Lotus Notes and SAP by recording account information.
· Execute the purchase of lab supplies and repair stock in support of Equipment Services functions.
· Works independently under the general direction of the service manager, but also must work cohesively within a team environment related to a customer inquiry queue. 
· Responds to break down or emergency situations with urgency and expediency.
· Attends internal training classes and reads vendor manuals or updates, as needed, to remain familiar with all changes or modifications to equipment.
· Performs detailed troubleshooting and evaluation of equipment for external customers and internal departments within Henkel per the guidelines and specifications established.
· Estimate costs to repair or replace equipment per department costing policies.
· Disposition and stage equipment to be sent out to the field for the equipment service program.
· Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
· Working in a lab environment with an exciting fast paced culture based upon innovation.
· Provides technical support for the equipment service group.
· Involved in all facets of equipment service support, and also the technical service lab, depending on volume at the operating center.
· Contacts vendors to obtain pricing and lead time, in order to respond to customer needs.

Who we are looking for (Position Requirements):

·  High School Diploma/GED required.
·  A minimum of two years experience in customer service or technical support required.
·  Two year degree, Technical certification or Bachelor's degree preferred.
·  Excellent customer relations manners, as well as good mechanical aptitude and familiarity with mechanics are required.
