Demand Planner

What we offer

· Generate/maintain monthly/weekly, statistical and adjusted demand plans through an18 month horizon
· Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
· Provide input to the Supply Planning team in developing inventory & safety stock strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
· Evaluate risks, plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate.
· Analyze product sales on a weekly basis.
· Identify opportunities and drive partner groups to appropriate action.
· Coordinate closely with supply planner to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements.
· Coordinate with Trade Marketing on promotional demand to ensure lead times are followed & assumptions are accurately captured in the forecast.
· Support Monthly Demand Meeting and S&OP Review with Business. Lead monthly Demand Alignment Meeting and support S&OP meeting for the assigned Business Unit.

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  Detailed understanding of master production scheduling / planning and inventory management processes and systems
·  Working knowledge of transportation, distribution, and customer service systems/ processes
·  Strong knowledge of MRP processes and systems (SAP knowledge a plus)
·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Working knowledge of master data systems and processes
·  Effective communication, interpersonal, and team skills
·  Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented and seeks accuracy in work product
·  Capable of working in a fast -paced and multi-tasking environment
·  Comfortable working with Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Microsoft Excel
·  Education: B.S. or B.A. degree
·  Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, transportation / distribution and/or customer service systems and processes
