What we offer

· Focus on selling solutions and adding value to customers by using your own initiative and utilizing our excellent technical support team
· Execute Key end user account management and project management by servicing existing and prospective markets through implementation of marketing promotions, programs, sales leads, and market intelligence
· Coordinate group selling activities (i.e. Customer Training Seminars) to be familiar with all the features and benefits Henkel products offer
· Provide key account support and execute Technical service calls; build and manage relationships across the business in line with our strategy
· Initiate reporting and maintenance of the reporting system; represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions

Who we are looking for

·  Credibility and attitude is the key! You are self-motivated, result oriented, dedicated, and driven to succeed
·  You are analytically strong, team-oriented and an effective conflict manager with a strong interest in a consultative selling approach
·  Excellent verbal and written communication, influencing, and interpersonal management skills. You have the ability to present to large groups in a clear and concise manner
·  Ideally you will have successfully completed a mechanical trade are a qualified engineer or experienced technical sales person. If you do not have a formal qualification then you must be able to demonstrate a strong mechanical or technical aptitude with practical hands on technical sales experience
·  Previous experience selling to the food & beverage packaging, building construction & paper converting industrial sectors and or to industrial re-sellers is advantageous
·  A self-motivated individual with an ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
·  Good computer skills

This role will be remote (head office is in Auckland) and the employee can be based anywhere within the area they service of Hawkes Bay, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Wellington, and will involve travel throughout these locations.
