Details:
The Warehouse and Shipping Lead coordinates outbound shipments of raw materials components and finished product as required. Responsible for Quality Management systems impacted by material shipment including SOP revision, deviation investigation, and CAPA completion. Leads and provides work direction to contingent warehouse operators to meet material shipping requirements. .

Key Responsibilities: • Functionally support the site shipping process by managing all SAP Outbound Deliveries for WIP & finished stock shipments to include necessary coordination with Planning, QA & Rockville
• Perform as a subject matter expert for all warehouse functions (includes SOPs, daily responsibilities, SAP transactions and audit support)
• Lead and Support Level 1 Audits for warehouse, identifying any areas of non-compliance or gaps and implementing CAPAs to address any findings.
• Create, edit and provide proficiency training (when applicable) for all departmental SOPs
• Lead warehouse personnel in ensuring we are providing materials on time and accurately to production
• Lead Warehouse personnel in receiving of raw materials and ensure accurate and organized storage of materials
• Assign, review and maintain cycle counts for all warehouse managed materials. Also investigate and reconcile any discrepancies that are discovered.
• Responsible for ordering of supplies and approving of all departmental invoices
• Act as the central customer contact for outbound shipments & provide direct support to meet all parcel packaging, labeling and shipment requirements. Assist in coordinating outbound shipments for sample testing, vendor returns, planned maintenance and offsite storage.
• Strictly comply with all cGMP guidelines, site LSOP's, OSHA/DOT safety regulations
• Responsible for review of Warehouse LSOP's and all cGMP documentation and appropriate updating of all Warehouse documents.
• Act as Warehouse Supervisors delegate during his/ her absence by attending daily meetings on Supervisors behalf and being prepared to brief updated information and providing Supervisor with detailed account of activities and actions during his/ her absence
• Responsible for leading and supporting RCA's

Desired profile

Basic qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three to five years warehouse experience
• 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Appropriate food industry experience maybe considered in lieu of pharmaceutical industry experience

Preferred qualifications:
• College degree
• Cold Chain experience
• SAP experience
• Leadership experience
