The Global Procurement, Senior Manager role within the Sales Enablement team is a truly unique role, at the forefront of driving GSK’s purpose to unite science , technology , and talent to get ahead of disease together , hand in hand with leaders across the Commercial business and through strategic relationships with our suppliers. Sales Enablement is a highly commercial, business critical category that is driving transformational change and patient first strategies across the full product lifecycle. Procurement has the opportunity to help shape what the future of Sales and Medical engagement could look like, with HCP’s and patients - ultimately driving innovation and true value for on sale products and future launches; driving real impact to top line growth and patient identification, access and adherence.

· Bring existing strategic suppliers along on the journey to deliver our business objectives and scout for new ones when new ideas or solutions are needed

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
· Bring real commercial thinking when partnering with the Business Units (BU’s), Global Product Strategy teams or commercial functions when driving new Sales and Medical engagement strategies across our key markets
· Build the procurement strategy for Sales Enablement across either key markets, key Business units or commercial functions or key assets or launch products
· Keep abreast of external market changes, innovations and opportunities that GSK could take advantage of
· Lead sourcing and negotiation initiatives in line with the strategy
· Partner with our matrix local operating country (LOC) Procurement team colleagues to ensure optimization of our global buying power with local business needs, and ensure that global strategies execute well and drive value for GSK and our patients on the ground
· Lead large-scale, cross-BU projects
Why You?
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree
· 5+ years of procurement experience
· Experience across commercial and or medical engagement categories
Preferred Qualifications:
· Masters Degree
· 3+ years Pharma industry experience
· Experience managing the delivery of large sourcing projects and end-to-end service implementation in collaboration with cross functional teams
· Experience negotiating complex supplier agreements
· Demonstrated success in delivering a multi-year strategy ensuring competitive commercial advantage
· Demonstrated ability to forge close business relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all management levels
· Agile and distributed decision-making – using evidence and applying judgement to balance pace, rigour and risk.
· Committed to delivering high quality results, overcoming challenges, focusing on what matters, execution.
· Implementing change initiatives and leading change.
· Continuously looking for opportunities to learn, build skills and share learning both internally and externally.
· Translating strategy into action - a compelling narrative, motivating others, setting objectives and delegation.
· Building strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
· Budgeting and forecasting, commercial and financial acumen.
