Job description



Your Responsibilities :
As a Professional Medical Representative, you will bring the marketing plan of action to life with key opinion leaders, key hospitals, and related allied health care professionals through uncovering and maximizing business opportunity to truly partner and innovate together.
• Representing GSK in identifying the right patients for the right products through engagement with the customers based on our values.
• Identifying right targeted customers to align with the appropriate products for the patient's benefits.
• Exploring opportunities in retail (private) channel to expand reach and access to introduce GSK's range of products for the appropriate patients.
• Establishing S&T (segmentation & targeting) and to incorporate into the business plan to explore reach to align GSK's range of products with the right patients though the right customers.
• Embedding the PFSS (patient focused selling) – patient focus selling as the main selling vehicle to engage the customers professionally.
• Managing geographical responsibilities, customer demands and inquiries.
• Promoting within the Promotional and Marketing Code of Ethics with practicing the strict compliance to Company Policies and Procedures with no major violations.

Knowledge:
• Territory Management- Veeva, Business Plan
• Customer Profiling – Segmentation and Targeting
• Technical knowledge on disease and product.
• PFSS (Patient Focus Scientific Selling) competencies

Responsibility/ Concern of Achievement:
• Supporting and working with other related departments – CME, Medical, Marketing, Training, CET
• Timely submission of Veeva
• Competent in technical knowledge
• Robust planning and execution of KPIs set in territorial business plan with min score of 3.
• Meeting of KPIs set in My Plan
• To meet min level of PFSS score
• Achieving 90% field time
• Securing of commitment through order taking, contract fulfilment, sampling.
• Robust planning through territory business planning – lost/gain customers, segmentation & targeting, forecasting, opportunities, challenges and remedial action.
• Achievement of daily call rates stipulated.
• To uphold GSK values in your daily work.

Basic qualifications:
You are a passionate Professional Medical Representative with the following attributes:
• A minimum of Tertiary Education background - BSc, BA, etc.
• 2 – 4 years working experience in Sales fields from any industry.
• Fresh graduate who are interested in Sales are encouraging to apply.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia with influencing skill.
• Have a good presentation skill with analytical, planning and organization.
• Ability to build strong connection and networking with the customers.

Added Advantage
• Proven ability to build and maintain access to a network of physicians
• Sales experience liaising with health care professionals
• Functional knowledge of data analysis techniques
• Demonstrated leadership and strong team collaborative skills
