Your Responsibilities :
Context:
PQ Engineering is responsible for the execution of PQ activities all-over the sites of Rosia and Siena.
This includes: initial qualification (due to new equipment/systems installations); Performance qualification determined by equipment/systems modifications and qualification runs requested as periodic activities.
Internship request is focused on the effort to integrate GSK Rosia site standards of working with global network expectations, helping PQ associates to fulfil the changes requested by the alignment.

Project description: main purpose, activities and expected results:
Project scope is included in the integration area. Rosia site alignment with GSK organization is determining multiple tasks which cover the following topics:
• Review current Rosia LSOP to align them with global GSK way of working
• Support the preparation of new protocol/reports templates
• Support the introduction of periodic review tools
• Support the assessment of current way-of-working in terms of impact versus GMP and regulatory expectations

The activities requested, to be agreed, planned and executed in strict coordination with PQ Engineering associates, include all the tasks necessary to fulfil the points mentioned above.

Competencies the intern will develop thanks to the internship experience
As a result of the collaboration period, the intern will develop a good understanding of the dynamics of a Vaccines/Pharmaceutical manufacturing site, including GMP aspects, main regulatory expectations governing manufacturing and validation/qualification environment, Qualification way of working and good documentation practices requested by a GMP regulated environment.
The intern will develop an overall understanding of some specific equipment/utilities way of functioning.

- Bachelor or Master degree Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Farmacy.
- Good English level, above all written English
- Deep curiosity for the activities and the logics of Pharmaceutical word, as well as a well-developed spirit of initiative are considered as important requisites for covering the role.

Preferred qualifications:
- The intern should be prepared to interact with several Qualification/Validation Associates and with people belonging to other departments.
